When I sold my house and the buyer wanted to close in 45 days, I knew had to find a new house very quickly in order to maintain stability for my kids -- I really didn't want to move into an apartment or a rent house and then have to move again. Throw in an almost two week trip out of town for work in the middle of that time frame and it seemed an almost impossible feat. Jimmy was absolutely amazing. He listened to exactly what my wish list was for myself and my kids and was able to accompany me to almost a dozen houses in an afternoon before I left for my work trip. Then, while I was gone, he continued to look for homes that fit my criteria, sending me photos and walkthrough videos. Being a first time homebuyer typically comes with an array of confusing steps to navigate and try to understand. Without the right realtor to help along the way, it could be an anxiety-inducing experience rather than an exciting one. Jimmy Nguyen is EXACTLY the realtor you want in your corner. From the moment my partner and I decided we wanted to buy a house, Jimmy was our enthusiastic, thorough, dedicated guide through it all. We had a tight turnaround time, with needing to find a new house so we could be out of our apartment on time, giving us really no more than six weeks to get it all done. Add on the complications that arise with Covid-19, and then a fun ice storm the week of our closing, and it could have all so easily fallen apart. But not with Jimmy at the helm! After viewing just one house together, he understood exactly what we were looking for, and when our first offer fell through, he didn't miss a beat, finding more listings that were all exactly our style, and even staying out late with us in the evening to tour houses and make sure we could make an offer and close on time. He kept us well informed every step of the way, checking in and reassuring us whenever homebuying jitters arose. Even after closing, he made sure to check in on us, and I simply can't say enough good things about him. 12/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My partner and I were first time buyers and Jimmy made the entire experience genuinely positive. His communication throughout the whole process was exceptional! As a long-time sufferer of anxiety, it was pretty important that we settle with an agent that I can spend extended time around! Personally I knew that I had difficulties with the stereotypical "sales people" personality, so I turned to a local LGBT+ community FB group for recommendations to begin sifting through. As a member of the community myself, I felt I had better luck having good communication with some of the people I talk to most on the day-to-day. From the very get-go, Jimmy made sure everyone knew everyone's pronouns, something that I've been privileged to have never had any issues with, but something I appreciate him doing. He also went above and beyond when he was made aware I have medical conditions that leave me at risk for infection, he was always with a mask, stayed socially distant, and even came prepared to every house viewing with alcohol wipes for the doors/as needed. These little personal things, as well as the basic communication between our party and the seller's party was speedy, and I feel he explained our side effectively… I just can't recommend him enough. At the end of the day, you are hiring someone to do a job, and they will be making a profit from you... And it's a case of seeing your money go to a good person who deserves it.
